Reading Terminal Market

Reading Terminal Market was everything I thought it would be, loud, crowded, full of smells (not smelly, well, smelly but in a good "oh my gosh I have to eat that" sort of way).  We had to do a few laps around before we decided what to eat (burrito/gyro/chocolate dipped cookie).

It was a first for me.  Luckily the weather was perfect, the sky was clear and the temperature was cool.  Best date ever.

Sheer blouses are one of my favorite items to transition from summer to fall.  While the sheer fabrics might seems like they have seasonal limitations simply wearing the floaty blouse with structured bottoms such as wool trousers or a leather skirt will effortlessly bring the pieces into cooler weather.

In Pictures: Valley Forge

I don't consider myself to be a history buff in any sense of the word, but honestly, when history and nature combine I kind of freak out (in a good way).  My recent trip to Valley Forge was completely amazing, there were deer literally everywhere.  On top of being surrounded by all this gorgeous landscape they've both preserved and recreated elements from our nations history, including historical houses and soldiers huts.  It really is a blast and I highly recommend this free experience to anyone in the Philadelphia area.

Root

Based on rave reviews from the always on target Kate Miss, I finally got myself a bottle of Root.  It.is.incredible.  Not only is it a great feeling supporting local merchants, but its truly delicious.  Now just in time for the dropping temps they've released Snap, I am all over this.

Hunter Boots

I'm finally ready to invest in a pair of Hunter boots, I was trying to think of what I really need for fall (as opposed to want), and a sturdy boot to get me through rain, wet leaves and slush is on the top of the list.  As fun as the bright yellow pair are, I think I might opt for the more classic and versatile black which would look perfect with my trench coat.
